Use this page to record notes that we are learning about with Magnetism and Electricity.

magnetism - Magnetism is a force of nature that has the power to push or pull mostly iron, nickel, unpainted metal, steel, cobalt, or just other magnets.

force - Force is when something is pushed or pulled by force.

attract - Attract is when something is pulled by force.

repel - Repel is when something is pushed away by force.

magnet - An object that can attract metal to it or can repel another magnet .

conductor - A conductor is an item that allows the flow of electricity.

insulator - An insulator is an item that doesn't allow the flow of electricity.

circuit - A circuit is a circular path for electricity.

switch - A switch is an item that allows you to open and close a circuit.

source - The source is the item that gives power to a closed circuit.

receiver - The receiver is the item that receives the electric charge.

parallel circuit - A parallel circuit is a circuit that has 2 or more components that are in parallel. All components must be in parallel.

series circuit - A series circuit is a circuit that has a circular path for electricity.
